Set up Program and Preview outputs

Assign displays, check the test card and choose audio routes.

Assign displays

  1. Open Output → Set output.
  2. Choose the display for Program and, optionally, a separate display for Preview. Leave unused outputs disabled.
  3. Assign separate key outputs if your workflow uses fill and key.
  4. Apply and confirm the display selection within 10 seconds. Unconfirmed changes revert.

Check the monitor before confirming. Program and Preview must use different displays. Test every fill/key path on the actual equipment before going live.

Use the test card

Show the test card from Output, or use Ctrl+Shift+L when operational shortcuts are enabled. Check the intended screen and project dimensions, then remove it before transmission.

Set the project video format

Settings → Video contains the base resolution, frame rate and available video options. Validate these with your output hardware; a software setting alone does not guarantee a frame-locked broadcast chain.

Keep Preview audio under control

Settings → Audio provides independent Program and Preview device selectors. Use Preview mute when you do not want rehearsal audio to be heard.

Optional browser output

Browser output is disabled by default. Enable it in Settings → Browser output and choose a port if needed. It is a feature of the desktop application, not this website.
